ExLight 64bit efi, Build 190202, based on Debian Testing (“Buster”) with Enlightenment 0.22.4-2, Refracta Snapshot, Calamares and kernel 5.0

NEWS 190202 ABOUT ExLight
I’ve made a new version of ExLight with the Enlightenment 0.22.4-2 Desktop environment and Calamares 3.2.3-2 Installer Framework .

New sources 190202
This new version of ExLight is based on Debian testing. I.e. cutting edge software is used. Build 190202 is a total rebuild of ExLight. The ISO file size has decreased from 1560 MB to 944 MB, which means that ExLight now can run even faster from RAM. I.e. load to RAMscreenshot.

NEWS 190128 about DebEX Budgie – a Refracta Build
A new version of DebEX Barebone with Budgie Desktop 10.4 and kernel 5.0.0-rc3-exton (equivalent to Kernel.org’s second latest kernel 5.0-rc3) is ready. All packages have been updated to the latest version as of January 28, 2019. DebEX Barebone is now based on Debian Buster (upcoming Debian 10). Most important: The ISO has decreased from 1330 MB to 925 MB, which makes it easier to run the system live from RAM. That ability allows DebEX Budgie...

Florida, Land of the sun!

Hi,

It's been nice here in Florida until the last few weeks. Rainy and chilly. Been playing golf daily, problems with some injuries that I had to work out. Game is solid when I keep to my rhythm and not over speed or try to kill the ball.

My winter home here has required some work. I told my wife that I did not come here to have continued work on the house but I am to cheap to hire most things required.

Family & fiends are showing up for the next two weeks...

Edit: I just mention that the procedure used in the below script is generally applicable in any situation where you want to get a piece of “Web” while avoiding a downright Web-Browser and wherever you can replace it by curl or wget.
