I realize that some people here are a bit tired of me being the nihilistic fatalist all the time when talking about matters of religion and/or philosophy, but this is just a little klutzy piece of "poetry" I threw together that might shed some light on the whole "free will" issue (for me, at least

HSN has an Android tablet on their best buy tonight. It is Impression 9.7" LCD 1GHz Processor Wi-Fi Tablet with 2MP Camera. Its user-friendly Android 2.3 operating system may be on the Android Forum. Will check.

Opera 11.50 Web Browser Hardening

These are the settings I use on Opera, however you may go more stricter or looser with your security settings depending on your needs.

The current version available from SlackBuilds.org is Opera-11.50. After repackaging with the SlackBuild and installing Opera, run the application and do the following:

Click Opera Menu (Upper Left-Hand Corner) > Settings > Preferences OR CTRL+F12

Pimping my fluxbox

Fluxbox is my favourite windowmanager for a number of reasons, but its default looks are not one of them. The included styles are mostly horrible and the default menu system in the Debian build has its problems.

I know of two decent sources of fluxbox themes:

Unfortunately both sources are dated - it seems the fad of creating themes for window-managers ended a few years ago. Nevertheless...

Today I get an alarm that a customer's website isn't responding. This particular customer isn't an American customer, and due to international law their server has to be hosted in their own country. So they picked a hosting company over there and we shipped their servers to the hosting company.
