Hi,

One week until Christmas and we are having a mild late fall. I played Golf the other day since it was 60 with a little breeze. Boy that was great! We do need a hard freeze so as to winter the bugs. 2. Another big improvement is that MeX now can...

Most xfce themes have the shortcoming of having very narrow borders. Resizing such a window with the mouse is hard, awkward and can drive one nuts.

BTW this may not work at all if the applications use GTK. It's frustrating at best and using an available theme may save you a lot of time. So I'm just blogging what I found out about the xfwm4 theme definition in 2 hours of searching and tinkering with the definition file. No luck so far and I drop the subject.

All the...

Posted 12-13-2015 at 12:58 PM by error_401 (LINUX mostly DEBIAN - hardware and software)

Stumbled onto a new hardware treat.
A friend held an EPSON Scanner for quite some time in the original box but had no use for it.
Got it for 50 bucks and installing into my Debian system now.

This is a USB scanner and has no network connection.

Documenting on the go in this blog as I do use my blog as reference and sharing platform:
