sctp.h not found in /usr/include/netinet/ in RHEL 4

Posted 09-18-2007 at 12:21 AM by mystavros

I installed the Intel EM64T version of RHEL4 but the sctp.h that can be found in /usr/include/netinet
directory on the 32bit version is missing. Using the find command, it is located in:

/usr/src/kernels/2.6.9-5.EL-x86_64/include/linux/sctp.h
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.9-5.EL-x86_64/include/net/sctp/sctp.h
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.9-5.EL-hugemem-i686/include/linux/sctp.h
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.9-5.EL-hugemem-i686/include/net/sctp/sctp.h
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.9-5.EL-smp-x86_64/include/linux/sctp.h...

ProFTPD is a proven, high-performance, scalable FTP server written from scratch, with a focus toward simplicity, security, and ease of configuration. Naturally, ProFTPD powers some of the largest sites on the Internet. It features a very Apache-like configuration syntax, modules, and a highly customizable server infrastructure, including support for multiple ‘virtual’ FTP servers, anonymous FTP, and permission-based directory visibility.

Posted 09-16-2007 at 02:30 AM by sridhar11
Updated 06-17-2016 at 10:03 AM by sridhar11

If you want to access a remote file system through ssh you need to install sshfs.sshfs is a filesystem client based on the SSH File Transfer Protocol. Since most SSH servers already support this protocol it is very easy to set up: i.e. on the server side there’s nothing to do. On the client side mounting the file system is as easy as logging into the server with
ssh.
