Ubuntu left me and my old computer behind when they went to Unity. There is no driver for my computer, and it's too bloody difficult to install Gnome or anything else. Also, Karmic worked well on my old iron, Lucid less so... although some derivatives such as Puppy and Mint, based on Lucid, work fine.

Oh Google how I <3 you ... and apparently you <3 me back. I just got my free Logitech Revue, compliments of the Google Developers contest. It couldn't have come at a more perfect time. I am in the midst of moving. While moving I dropped a huge box of technical books on my laptop and that sucker is fried like a meal at a truck stop. So last year I posted a blog about why my wife should let me spend our rent money on an android dev phone. Well as it turned out I ended up waiting a few months for my sprint contract to be up and jumped ship to Tmobile. I want one and BAD , I was even momentarily contemplating switching to T-mobile as they upped the rates on my contract and i could get out with no ETF. However it turns out that T-moblie sucks in my area, or if you believe the posts in general. So its perfect, unlocked phone that works on my network ! Only one small issue , THE WIFE ! She's all like blah blah...
