In a system of people, not for pepole.w.w.w Obama was too smart for your curtain and dictating hearts, brains with a healthy dose of stupidity set!

Well, there's this from Snopes and it's not bad but also not as much as expected. Also few lists note minor legislation he sponsored such as boosting support for technologies like new materials, but to generalize the net effect on the working class was beneficial. We can only guess at how different that record would have been with McCaain and Romney, but we are likely to get a clue with Trump.

When the realization hit's you of the term

"Clean and drain the swamp"

Only means getting rid of any left wing bodies in the executive branch and supreme court for starters. Things will get more inventive as one learns the ropes of the job. Remove all dissent
is a good business practise.

And then next you realize. The damage that is going to be done will out live your lifetime.
You will not live long enough to see the repair.
This is your swan song.

No wonder. Fear of youth is prevalent .

You should be aware, however, that those "unemployment" figures were a bit doctored. You see, if anyone was "employed," whether they were a US Citizen or not, "it counts." Furthermore, if the unemployed person stops drawing puny "unemployment benefits," s/he quickly drops off the radar altogether and is no longer counted(!) as "unemployed."

"Manufacturing jobs" are also doctored through the trick of "final assembly point." If you take a product made in China and put it into a box here, that's conveniently counted as a "manufacturing job."

But ordinary people, trying to make ends meet, know when the official numbers that are being presented by officials are too good to be true.

Fundamentally, it is the focus that must be changed. It is, after all, absolutely ridiculous to build a teapot 10,000 miles away. It is absurd that an entrepreneur who wanted to build shoes found that he literally could not find the supporting industries needed by a shoe factory. That an automobile plant can be completely shut down by a wrecked trailer-truck containing vital and single-sourced bolts which obviously failed to arrive "Just In Time.™" We caused industry to move away, and those policies have turned out to be ruinous. Unsustainable.

The only "trade" worth having, international or otherwise, is trade between mutually strong parties who resist lopsided agreements that benefit only one at the expense of the other.

Doctors don't save lives, we still die? And\Or. You are missing at least a 3rd category: has job, burden on "taxes"( wished4.edu) and does not have job...

Curiouser and curiouser.... You're "not into politics/religion" but you quote from and link to a FAR right TeaParty publication that has difficulties with things like "press credentials". In actual fact Hillary won the popular vote by a small margin of 175,000 votes overall but only in the coastal states. It was a slightly greater margin than the margins that defeated McCain and Romney. However, Trump winning more states in Middle America gave him a greater count in Electoral Votes which is what has put him in office. Too many Democrats too sure of themselves and not aware of the depth of Trump's popularity... though considering Gary Hart and others have lost their careers from The Press reporting even the mildest sexual shenanigans, it is a bit odd that Trump got a pass on his.

I loved that you kept it real (here still 2016ish): politics/religion! Ideas like a separation of church and state are evolutionary but being run by people, catch not our drift?!.

As I see the left more-and-more react - I am rather dumbfounded. This so called tolerance they preach , then when things do not go THEIR way, watch-out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qg2PFqW41UM - I keep hearing how those right-wingers can be so evil and intolerant, but holy shit the left...

The time for "head-bashing whatever 'wingers' you happen to have disagreed with," also, "is over."

The collective(!) "road ahead of us [all ...]" is to figure out the following conundrum:

"Oh, WTF?!?!" What now?!
How to transform "this venomous cesspool of contention," somehow, into "national purpose?" (Whether we approve of "who won," or not, if only "because it really doesn't matter anymore?")

Sorry: I frankly don't think that "CNN" has a cuckin' floo at this point ... ... ...

politics are ideas, people are not... I only work (and) with people who go in to provide a service, whereas ON AVERAGE people go for pay! Then they female dog that I get more promotions and raises because we're people not ideas like work ethics!
