Donald Trump vows to ban Muslims entering US

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viDffWUjcBA

Before it was the issue of illegal Mexicans and now it's the Muslims. I am not a Mexican or a Muslim, but he seems to be stereo-typing these two races for the crimes associated to them.

My gut feeling is this guy is not going to win the seat in the oval office and maybe he knows this too. So, he probably figured I might as well vent and rant and speak my mind.

I don't like Trump, but one thing for sure, he's not afraid to say what he feels.

Any opinions on his latest controversy?

PS: I'll be surprised if he's our next President...

Meh, he rants like a 10 YEAR old and this latest rant is to get the Conservative Christian vote to back him into the GOP primary.

Nothing like religion to dumb down the vote. Logic says he is immature born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

And what is Trump's plan for all the Muslims already here, internment camps? (Wouldn't put it past him, considering the amount of intelligence or lack there of from Trump).

Silver spoon is right, since he is piggy-backing off of Daddy's fortune because without it he would be seen for what he really is, a failed businessman.

Actually, "what's wrong with" the notion that "illegal [Mexicans]" should not be tolerated?

"Do we have laws here, or not?"

If we do not, then we have no recourse against the many abandoned trailer-trucks full of rotting corpses that the border patrols of Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas find every year.

I suspect that Mr. Trump is "making a [valid ...] point" in his usual "CEO style." Today, America has cheerfully thrown its own immigration laws to the four winds, "in the name of Making A Buck." (And let the record show that we don't give a tinker's dam about any of these people as people.)

"Sure!" Bring desperate people from Northern Mexico over the border illegally. They become our new interpretation of "agricultural slaves," unwilling to complain about anything we may subject them to.

Likewise: "Sure!" Let's bring "guest workers" in any-and-every aspect of high tech, on non-immigrant visas. They have no hope of citizenship. After 2/4/6 years, we wad 'em up and send 'em back where they came from. But in the meantime, we avoided hiring American workers and thus having to abide by pesky American labor laws. Instead, we have "indentured servants" all over again ... here using a loophole of immigration law to bypass the 13th Amendment.

Although I remain neutral with regard to this particular candidate (I blatantly ignore "primaries" ...), I think that he is, in fact, tapping-into a valid(!) concern ... such that "the media" has become bound-and-determined "to utterly dismiss him."

That valid-concern is this: "Whose side are you on, anyway?"

Today, as tens of millions of American citizens have simply given-up on searching for a new job, they watch as their nation "searches the whole world over for 'anybody, anywhere e-l-s-e'" to see to it that they continue to remain ... unemployed.

Quote:
"If I have been without any professional (IT ...) job for a year and a half now, why do you consider it advantageous to bring somebody in from Bangladore, and pay him $100,000 a year, instead of me?"
Believe me, that is a huge "well of fury" to tap into. And it is extremely unwise to suppose that this might not catapult this man ... into(!) the White House.

Really? Man I wish you were beside me when the I was in the food riots in the early 70's in the San Marcos Job Corp facility. Which was overwhelmingly populated by PO black men. Being white was like wearing a red bullseye.

I survived it just fine. I doubt you would have. Why you may ask? Because those dudes also,

There is big bucks in keeping this kind of thing going. Can't do slavery anymore since the civil war.
So guess what is the next best thing. Besides. The illegals are more polite and well mannered than the ones
born and raised here. Speaking from personal living experience on the border.

Edit: Politics. Dontcha love it.

On a lighter note after a nights sleep.

I am more concerned about SUVs.

Being a bicycle and motorcycle rider. I believe soccer moms driving SUVs are proof that Satan exists on Earth and they were put here in the USA to kill me. So. Seeing that they kill more than religious radicals across the USA. Should we ban soccer moms as well?

I am more likely to be killed by vehicle than a ak-47. So people please. Lighten up.

Look at the polls. Trump tells people what they want to hear.

I'm hoping that Bernie Sanders is the next American President!! I am however a 71 year old realist who never thought I would live to see the day a half-negro Barack Obama became our President!!
Donald Trump just might be our next, and last, American President!! A say this because a President Trump would surely provoke mass chaos everywhere on this planet!!
Many innocent people will just be " shot on sight " or " just disappeared " law and order will be non existent and mobs will rule the streets 24/7!!

"America" -- a country which thinks it is a continent and is ruled by the media.
Really, this is embarrassing to us all watching and us UKians have Tony Blair, Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage so we understand embarrassment.

Yep, the folks in Germany also like what Hitler said and he came on top as the new dictator.

What's even more weirder is Hulk Hogan wants to be Trump's running mate as vice president and Trump is strongly considering it. Hogan was caught on tape a couple of times using the N word about certain black wrestlers.

This country is in BIG trouble with these two racist stooges who have no political experience on running a country.

As I posted earlier in this thread, does he plan interment camps for those already here? Gee, who else did that again? The Nazis, and so did the US with their Japanese-American citizens. History does repeat itself.

No, it is not OK, in the same way that it is not OK for a pizza place, a bakery or someone handing out wedding licenses to discriminate, for example, against homosexual people, based on religion. Religious freedom is not a thing that should allow to discriminate against others, regardless of your religion. But religious freedom explicitly is there to protect people from being discriminated because of their religion. Banning a whole religion based on the actions of a few is simply unacceptable.
