LFA (Linux for all) version 150225, 64 bit, with Fluxbox as Window Manager and Cairo-Dock as Desktop Interface

The system is based on upcoming Ubuntu 15.04, codenamed Vivid Vervet and Debian Jessie (upcoming Debian 8). It's a total rebuild. I.e. nothing is left of the old LFA system.

The system language is ENGLISH.

It's been a while since I got one of these calls. Somebody with a strong Indian accent, using an English name (Andrew, this time), and claiming to work for Microsoft.
After introductions, this is the conversation:
Andrew: we have reports that your computer has been downloading malicious software.
Me: Oh? That sounds bad.
Andrew: Don't worry, we can fix it.
Me: I hope so.

BLDC Motor How To

I'm gathering data for running BLDC motor using my Odroid U3 Shield I/O.

First question what is a BLDC motor.

A BLDC motor is a Brushless Direct Current Motor meaning that the electromagnet coils are static but its the magnetic rotor that rotates.

It has many advantages to the motor used in toys and other types, but its complexity arises from the circuitry needed to drive this type of motor.

I have scraped some hard disks and optical drives...

Sorry, non-technical post here...no "war stories of the admin" or "datacenter outages caused by stupidity" today.
