i have problem in Linux distribution (distro)of red hat,i can't use dial up as i don't know how to install modem on this (distro) please suggest me the way so that i can run internet on my PC with this distro.

i want to write a shell script to find files older that 3 days in the subfolders of the above folder sturcture.

How to change host name in Ubuntu Server 6.06 LTS? Can anyone suggest me what should i do?
why is not anyone reading my blog or none knows the answers for my query?
Actually i've setup the Ubuntu SErver with LAMP,Bind9,Postfix,SSH,Webmin,Dovecot IMAP,POP3,
and while doing so i had misspelled the hostname and now i need to change without affecting the rest of the whole system,
Once i had tried this but it didnt worked out, " sysctl kernel.hostname=newhostname"...

linux-based embedded controller

i'm a degree student and now i'm doing my final year project (thesis) about linux-based embedded controller.

any suggestion or information for me ? i just installed debian 4.0 on my pc and have try the gcc compiler.
