Flip - Convert text file line endings between Unix and DOS formats

This program converts line endings of text files between MS-DOS and **IX formats. It detects binary files in a nearly foolproof way and leaves them alone unless you override this. It will also leave files alone that are already in the right format and preserves file timestamps.User interrupts are handled gracefully and no garbage or corrupted files left behind. ‘flip’ does not convert files to a different character set, and it can not handle Apple Macintosh line endings (CR only). Logitech MarbleMouse in Debian

I have made this mouse scroll by using the ball and holding the small left button, in both Debian sid and Ubuntu 8.10. These procedures are entirely different! Ubuntu has an unconventional (or perhaps just more up-to-date) xorg configuration method.

Ati Video problem

I have an install of Debian unstable that recently had a pile of upgrades, and afterward had extremely slow scrolling in Iceweasel/Firefox/Epiphany and even Opera. I have the fglrx drivers installed. I tried safe mode for Iceweasel, but no improvement. I finally resorted to "vesa" drivers in xorg, which seems to have fixed the problem. More if I discover the cause.

Perhaps I'll try an aptitude reinstall fglrx to see what happens.
