How i came to know about Linux?

Once i went to Uncle's home for practicing Windows Applications, I saw a Computer Magazine which had Article about the New Operating System called Linux.I just ran through it.. And I saw a strange picture near the Article.
The picture depicted as the Windows Pack on the dustbin near the PC and Linux Penguin Pack on the Desktop.

I just Asked My Uncle About it, "What the Hell is this?"

Hacking SSH: un-forward local ports

Yesterday I was trying to implement a feature allowing me to unforward the ports while connected.
Here is current development progress(which is stopped atm) but the beta-version of solution has been released.
p.s. I also posted that to OpenSSH developers.

A Script for Keeping Slackware Up-to-date...

My last blog post explained how to use lftp to maintain a local mirror to keep Slackware -stable up-to-date. The next logical step is to write a script to do that.

I started a thread on LQ seeking feedback on the method and the script and the result was a wonderful discussion with a useful script at the end.

Be sure to check out H_TeXMeX_H's alternative script in the same thread. He took my original idea and did something pretty cool with it.
