Apparently I got rid of this message popping up every now and then on some scripts (calling things like hsetroot, feh, I'm not sure which triggered it, but I'm almost certain it wasn't a single thing) by installing a somewhat "hidden" i386 package on Debian:

Fast nirgends findet sich eine einfache und auch für Laien verständliche Anleitung zum Jahresabschluss mit GnuCash. Die meisten geben zwar gute Tipps, z.B. für jedes neue Jahr eine neue Datei anzulegen, allerdings keine Anleitungen wie der Gewinn/Verlust verbucht, die Buchhaltung abgeschlossen und eine neue mit leeren Aufwand/Ertrags Konten eröffnet wird.

INFO: Löscht keine Konten aus der Gruppe 9 bevor ihr nicht sicher seid, wozu es dient.

Resolving SBo packages dependencies

When I started this thread [url]https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/call-for-testers-script-to-resolve-dependencies-for-sbo-packages-4175637160/[/url] I didn't realize it will grow up into something more complicated. Essentially at the end it should full package builder - based on bunch of scripts.

The first it was to realize how to build full file of dependencies (abbr. dep file) for package. Dep file is just text file - each line is link to web page for package....

I specifically chose Debian (with XFCE) because I don't have the system build for something as resource intensive as Mint / Ubuntu / KDE, it touts a very large and well tested software repository, the distro is unlikely to vanish, I read it required very little system maintenance for general upkeep, and because I liked the projects long and illustrious history.
