Free Empires Souce Code Released

Posted 06-21-2007 at 12:47 PM by Chargh

The Free Empires Source Code was released today. This includes the Gambas Project File, along with its Graphics. We also included some Sound Files so people can work on getting Free Empires to play Sounds. We did not include our map Scrolling Code because it is in Development and messes up the Code.

For those interested you can download it from My File Ho FTP Server: http://fileho.com/download/b30f5e180110/FESourceRelese1.tar.gz.html

The bzip2 utility is capable of greater compression ratios than gzip. Therefore, a bzip2 file can be 10-20% smaller than a gzip version of the same file. KnoppMyth R5F1

Posted 06-18-2007 at 07:21 AM by Caysho

Find "IEC958 Playback AC97-SPSA" and set it to zero.

Then go into the General sound setup.
I have:
Audio output device - /dev/adsp
Passthrough output device - ALSA:lec958:{AES0 0x02}
Enable AC3 to SPDIF passthrough - ticked
Enable DTS to SPDIF...
