camorri:
Each distro is a custom version of linux. In fact a distro is a linux kernel plus a lot of other linux programs. The installer may check for pre-req's ( or may not ). Each distro tests to a greater, or lesser degree compatibility. If you look into the code, you will find various releases of every component that exists. MinMenu 0.7.0 Released

Posted 02-06-2009 at 08:18 PM by CoderMan

I have been working on an open-source project for several months now, a Linux console application written in C. I'm planning to use my blog here to announce minor-revision updates (0.x.0). I want to expose my application more to the outside world so I can start getting some user feedback and bug reports.

Information regarding the project, source code, screen shots, etc. are available on my website at http://indicium.us/cgi-bin/pages/get?view=minmenu.
