Linux friendly ISP

Posted 08-02-2008 at 03:35 AM by symion

Hi there,
I would like to change my ISP to someone who really supports Linux, Open source, Mozilla Firefox.
My current ISP only supports Internet Explorer!
Any ideas?

Fixing windoze Computers

Posted 08-02-2008 at 02:19 AM by nigelc

Be careful if you fix someone's windows computer because it will take AGES.
They probably won't know the passwords for the email & it will be full of spyware and more spyware.
And there will be lots of other faults like have stupid software that they don't know what it does.
etc etc.
I used to like it when you could just go format c:

sensors for linux

Posted 08-02-2008 at 01:42 AM by tithira

hi guys
I have found some interesting way to get hardware measurements from BIOS .Linux users you can just download package from your system updates or just visit here

1. When you are done with installing lm-sensors just type
Code:
 su -
    (your password)
    sensors-detect
this will do the many of things. just proceed with its default answer if you don't what to do ,else just answer to the question as you want.If sensors-detect not works...
