Exclamation YAST not opening in Gnome (SUSE 10.0 32bit)

Hello, I've install SUse Linux 10.0 yesterday and I'm using the Gnome system.

Today, I'm unable to launch YAST to configure my distribution. It just doesn't start. It is working in BlackBox, and other graphical interface, but not in Gnome.

Anybody can help?

Thanks

You might be able to get a meaningful error message by opening a terminal and starting yast2 from the command line.

check permissions

If you changed your security from easy to secure or paranoid then yast2 wont run because it does not have root permission under the user you are logged in on. Try running sudo /sbin/yast2 and either changing your security settings or running from the command line.
