laptop hangs on boot


Hello

This is a new installation on an Acer TravelMate 4050 with 256 MB RAM.

OS is Opensolaris snv_54 installed from 6 CD's (which install and boot on a desktop).

Boot hangs after 'Configuring devices'. Adding -arvk to the Grub boot line
shows that the hang/reboot occurs as follows:

FWIW I managed to boot snv_54 when I reinstalled with only the first 4 install CD's. I don't know why. When I install the next CD (no. 5) it won't boot again. Go figure.
