mouse trouble


hey i was setting up slackware for the first time last night everything went well except i picked the wrong mouse during setup

i have a comport/serial mouse and i selected ps/2 intelli



how can i change this so my mouse works with kde and everything


i just formated from mandrake to check out slackware

so i have no idea the proggies or anyything in slack ware



thanks for you help

Run one of the x configuring tools or hand edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config (or /etc/X11/XF86Config-4) file.

when i go into /usr/X11R6/ i can run xf86config yeah but it screws with my resolution
well i just got a p/s mouse with scroll and yeah i used that config and had to re do my monitor and video card but it works

but i can't scroll

any help?

can't get scroll to work i mean everything else works about it
but i hate using that config cuz its really hard to work around things in 20x20 resolution
