Mandrake 9.2DE on Compaq Presario 3000 (3045us)

Hello,
I am trying to install Mandrake 9.2DE on Compaq Presario 3000 (3045us) notebook, it does recognize M650 graphic card, but none of the moitors type chosen seem to work. The vendor just says it is 64MB TFT flat panel and I have tried almost all drivers (including generic + generic flatpanels) but to no avail. It displays only top part of the screen and nothing else! (It is shows full info on another monitor to which I connected the video o/p).
I checked on web but could not get much helpful info there either. Is there a standard way of getting through this problem?
With good day wishes...,
