I change the configuration of my monitor/video card... and now I get a little further but then I get some sort of video error:

No modes found

That's what it says after a long checklist...

I'm trying to install it on an IBM Aptiva Intel Pentium II 350MHz computer.

All it says in the BIOS is that it's running an NVIDIA video controller.

use the search function of the forum. There are tons of people with problems relating to nvidia cards. I'm sure it can be fixed.

i had simillar problems,
My adviice would be to reinstall as per default . You can install extras latter If you still have same problem please post info on your system in particular Graphic & sound card info. Above all dont give up.

When you log into root and type in XFdrake it should auto-detect your video card, monitor and max resulation and colors. BUT DO NOT TEST THE RESULTS their is a bug in this program (Fixed in 9.2) and when you test no changes are made and you'll be right back at the beginning.
