Hi i recntly installed Linux Mandrake 10 and am having some hd issues.

I have a samsung 80gb hd and i was in the middle of installing windows in Vmware .. when all of a sudden a notice poped up and stated that i HAD ONLY 149 MB LEFT ??!! this was outside of the windos install and coming from linux. Im a noob so i tryed thinking of a way to calculate space left on the drive so i opend up konqueror and went up to root selected all directorys and hit propertys .. WTF ?! only 5.8gb total drive space and 149 mb left .. what the heck ? when i installed linux i did a clean install so it couldent be partitions could it?

just check your partition information by using fdisk -l at the terminal. There you will get some information about your partitions. Secondly, during setup time did you view your partitions on which linux was installed. Verify that and post accordingly (your problems)
