how to configure non transparent bridge?

Hi,
I am working on a MIPS based NIC Card, on which MIPS Linux is already ported and it contains 4 Gig Card on it. It also has driver for this cards. I am suppose to write a driver on host machine so that it can communicate with the NIC and offload all driver related job on the card. The designers have chosen to use the Intel 21555 non-transparent bridge to connect the host and the board. Thus for communication between the host and the board unlike transparent bridges, i have to program the 21555 non-transparent bridge(like seeting up the PCI windows and also for generationg interrupts thru doorbell register set). So i have to write a module at host as well as at the device side. Can any body guide me tht how can i start??? plz.. help me ... or tell me where else i should put this question ... any mips/embedded groups... ???? tks in advance.

Regards
Mehul

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
