I want to try SuSE 9.1 Professional and I don't know where I can get it. Do you know a link?
I don't need SuSE 9.1 Personal it is a difference. This one is a single iso (cd) and you can dowload it and then through update you get to 9.1 Professional. I want the 5 iso's/cd's for the Professional version. Can you help me? A link, ftp or privet home page...?
u can try
LinuxIso.org in the SuSe linux section there are loadz of sections about this issue there
also the best place to get 9.1 i got it from Shareaza or u can use DC++ or emule
@ XavierP
Now you're wrong, so far I know there are 5 cd's for SuSE professional 9.1. Ypu can download the cd for Personal edition and then trough that you will be able to make an update to Professional edition.
@ elbrens
I already tried that site.....nothing...........
I'll wait other answers...
Thank's anyway to both of you.
BTW - please do not post the same question 3 times - twice in this forum. And SuSE don't make the iso available for download, if someone else has done so then it is outside of SuSE.
I have reported your posts and they will be dealt with.

If you want the 5 ISO's you will have to buy them, or you can borrow them from someone else who owns them. Suse's policy is to NOT make their ISO's available for download (with a small number of exceptions such as the Live CD's) and therefore any claims from a site offering the "official" Suse Professional ISO's for download should be considered false, and the images to be corrupt.
It is possible to install Suse 9.1 via a network install or to download their installation tree to your local drive and launch the installation from that, both for free, but not the ISO's. -- J.W.
I purchase my distributions from a vendor that I discovered on ebay. He charges between 4 to 6 dollars for 5 CDs depending on what special he is running at the time. I would post his email address. However, this would probably be against the LQ's rules.
To find a cheap vendor go to amazon.com or use google. Use the following keywords for your google search: Suse, professional, & generic. You should expect to spend about $10 including shipping and handling.

I've got news for you all. Suse has now made Suse Linux PERSONAL 9.1 available for download as AN .ISO!!!!
If you have a broadband connection you can follow the link I'll give you. It has very explicit directions on how to do a network install. I did it and man it worked like a charm. It installed just fast as if I was using the dvd or cd roms.
Originally posted by XavierP You can't download an iso. SuSE/Novell don't do it that way - you can probably get hold of a boot disk and then you'd have to install via ftp.
I didnt know that, linuxiso.org do allow you to download an iso from them, even though i cant because of my faulty broadband.
