Interesting! Is it totally free? Any country as well? Is there a faq somewhere that I can take a look before contacting them? I could not find much info about that .
Well, they shipped mine from the US to the UK. They treat these as a normal software export - so as long as US companies can legally export to your country, you should be able to get them.
(You get 3 DVDs - DVD1a has SuSE Enterprise Server 8, Nterprise Linux Services 1.0, Groupwise 6.5.1, Red Carpet Enterprise Server 2.02, ConsoleOne and Linux Services. DVD1b has SuSE Linux Pro 8.2, Ximian desktop 2. DVD1c has SuSE Linux Pro 9.1. All are called Evaluation Software on the disks - not sure if that means that they will expire or if it means that you don't get as much software as you would if you bought the software)
Well, as long as they don't charge me, I will subscribe then. After all, I've a few spare machines that would be nice to test stuff around, plus I've a lot, and I mean it, a lot to learn about servers and databases.
The senior Network Admin at my company requested it, but we haven't received it yet.
I really want to try-out the Novell Linux Services and GroupWise.
Especially GroupWise because I want to get rid of Outlook company-wide.
I think the only thing that may stop the migration is the licensing cost.
I guess if I contact a Novell rep., I may get a better deal.
Does anyone here have a GroupWise setup ? Feedback....
Every day I wait for the shipment is another day I am trapped in the hell that is Outlook.
I read somewhere that they are trials that expire in a limited amount of time. Groupwise interested me, as that's what our school uses (Novell + Windows 2000 network)

They are all gone folks. They give you the opportunity to give them your email address to notify you of future offers though (read: spam the crap out of you).

I really, really doubt it . Specially in my case: I've been using Novell's free e-mail account (myrealbox.com) for a long while now, and if they wanted to spam me, they would already have done that
