Thanks for the link, MrCode.

It reminds me of my IT courses in college. The professors share many tech support stories including broken "cup holders" and credit cards stuck in the floppy drives. One professor got out of tech support because he was tired of traveling to users' homes and offices just to plug the power cord into the wall.

What about letters falling down? There was a request for support people to come and fasten/fix them to monitors so they do not fall down any more.

Let's see how many of you can guess what was the cause of this phenomenon.

I think it's either screen savers or post-it notes.

Simulators for a bunch of dos viruses.
They can run in dosbox, then cannot infect files ether.

Well it is true that Linux can sometimes not be very user-friendly.

Somehow Windows brainwashes people

People who use windows expect every other os be like windows.
That is why there is only one desktop for windows.
The words "user-friendly" should be replaced by behaves like windows.
Just look at the simplicity of the GNOME desktop, or Xfce.

Last word in designing Windows have:
1. Most users at home
2. Large corporations tech support conferences
3. Bosses at Mircrosoft
4. Bosses in corporations buying most licences

I think this answers most of windows properties?

And regarding Linux user interface, people "calling the shots" are:
1. End user communities
2. Advanced user communities
3. Chiefs in development teams
4. Bosses in support companies

Give it a thought?
