What if neither one of them wins the election?

There are four qualified candidates the ballot. Two of them do not have billions of (corporate) dollars to spend in order to completely buy-up the media message ... although they are both quite active on social media and you can talk to them directly and actually(!) be talking to them.

You will never hear any mention of "the other two," nor any public suggestion that they could win the election, because they did not pay for that message to be distributed. But, it is nonetheless the truth.

If you don't like "Hillary or Trump," don't vote for either(!) of them.

If no candidate gets enough electoral college votes will the House install Speaker Paul Ryan as President of these United States?? That could happen!!

This link, which I assume is accurate, says that they would have to choose between Trump, Clinton, and whoever came in third (Gary Johnson). Paul Ryan wouldn't be a choice.

Uhm, that highly speculative article is from March. I think it's pretty safe to say that its predictions did not come to pass.

This presidential election is full of surprises and a lot of intrigue; there really is no way to accurately predict anything!!

Maybe Mr. Putin has a good point, distraction against the real problem - the US sure like to paint others as the bad guy.

When a guy consistently makes wild accusations against his opponent, the press and so on, we can guess that he is not really targeting his opponents but aiming to keep his vote bank interested and engaged. I am not sure whether the big polls really capture the "mood of the electorate" and maybe it is the local sectarian, parochial .. whatever press that will be correct. One never knows. Mr. Trump may get a thumping majority. There is enough precedent for this and we tend to forget that even Hitler came to power through elections (albeit the last free and fair elections) in his country.

OK

There is literally zero chance of that happening. If a huge number of uncertainties end up working in his favor, then he might win by a hair.

In my old humble opinion I believe that the vote totals of Gary Johnson and Jill Stein in each state are going to be a surprise!! I am not of the belief that the anger and venom brought up by this election is going to subside!! I hope that it does, but I think that no matter who the next president is chaos is coming!!

I know I could be wrong, but my opinion Shillery is still going to win. While I do not like Trump, at least he gave a big middle finger to the establishment, but now it is time for reality; Shillery most likely will be the next commander-in-chief and so I see nothing but more military excursions and interventions that are not warranted, and our relations with the Russian Federation will get even worse; perhaps we might be alienating other key allies as well.
