I just saw Gran Torino and enjoyed it a lot. Not quite as dark as some of Eastwood's more recent films, and still entertaining (and quite a good story).

I watched Hero last night (Jet Li, among other great actors / actresses) for the second time; it's an amazing film. Last weekend I saw Lucky Number Slevin for about the fifth time, it's still awesome as well.

That's odd - I just watched Hero for the second time over Christmas break. (First time was in the theater.) That is a great film.

This one is different. Made in Brazil. Award winning movie from 1998. Even with sub-titles, I found the movie very good. Gives one an up close and personal view of life in Rio de Janerio.

Central Station.
