pasting without ctrl+c , ctrl+v , left click or right click

Posted 09-10-2011 at 10:59 AM by rahulkya

If you are using linux then you must know this shortcut {without keyboard}.. Here is the workaround ::

1. Select the text you want to paste..{No ctrl+c,just select the text by mouse or keyboard}
2. Middle click anywhere to paste..{As simple as that}

The reason for above is :: When you select the text it goes to the buffer then middle clicking paste the content....
Enjoy ....

Ubuntu 11.04 log off problem

Posted 09-09-2011 at 02:47 PM by dd_stefanoiu

I am not able to play video file using totem, vlc or smplayer. Vlc opens and plays files but if I try to maximize or another command the system log off, a pop up appears giving me a message about CUPS and battery check(ok). After that I am able to log in again.
