Time to prepare for our trip to Florida.

We are leaving for Florida earlier than usual because our Granddaughter is graduating from Marine Basic training at Parris Island,S.C. in early Oct. We will have two active duty Marines in the family, three if you include their Dad(once a Marine always a Marine).
Last year our Grandson graduated from Parris Island and will be deployed about the same time as our Grandaughter's graduation.
If you ever have the chance to see a Marine Event you will see a disciplined body of men & women perform in sync exercises to be proud of. When speaking to a Marine never class them as a soldier, they are Marines and proud to have become one. Soldiering is for the Army!
I just got back from a 3 day Golf outing. I have to take it easy after all that golf, this older body is telling me to slow down a bit.
We are driving down early October and it will be a 3 day trip. I have a few jobs to get done when I get to Florida but I will get back in the groove with my Golf. My Park course is a small 9 hole course. We have a few members that go outside the park once a week on Tuesday just to change and allow some real banging of the ball.
Now that Nike has gotten out of the equipment business I am now using Callaway Warbird as my ball of choice. Nearest compression for a Nike Juice. It seems the Warbird construction using HEX flies better for me. Plus on sale the Warbird is comparable in cost to the Nike Juice. Warbirds on sale are around $9.99/dz
I just bought a used Backspin Golf bag(rugged) to replace one I've used for less than a year. TPS (made in China) bag just did not wear well. It is hard to find good Golf equipment made in the USA.
Golf is not a cheap pass time but enjoyable when things go right.
Well the Football programs are starting and I want to see what Terry and the guys have to say. You can get some real laughs from the Fox team.
