Cool What are the easy to follow step-by-step instructions for loading "WICD" in Slackware

Hello Gurus,

I need simple easy to follow instructions for installing WICD package in Slackware. If possible, list every step, every command for a newbie.

Hmmm, not to sound rude but maybe Slackware is not the best choice for now to use.

Check out these instructions.

$ wget http://slackware.osuosl.org/slackware-12.2/extra/wicd/wicd-1.5.6-noarch-2.tgz
# installpkg wicd-1.5.6-noarch-2.tgz && rm wicd-1.5.6-noarch-2.tgz
If you wanna install the 1.5.9 version you've to move to -current.

Other useful commands:
