How can i install DSL 3.0 to my 256MB CF card....step by step instructions please

I have several compaq ia-1 devices i would absoultely love to load up DSL linux to using a flash card, and run off the flash card.

Problem is i can never get the GRUB install to work correctly to get DSL to the CF card.

Is there just one place where someone would be nice enough to show me a spot where all the steps are in one place to accomplish this ???
