after installing Bumblebee drivers for nvidia i get tty1-6 and 8-12 blank screens

Hi , I've been having problems with the optimus tech that nvidia is using now days and that my laptop happens to have. After a short while I found the bumblebee project and decided to give it a try. It works quite well. I tested it with some games, even with games emulated with wine and, apart from the inconvenience of typing an extra string for half commands, it seamed a good solution. but... I just discovered that this change made the virtual terminals of my X to go blank and this, apart from being bad on it's own, is not allowing me to switch users because when I try it takes me to a blank screen (that after some reading I guess is a blank screen in tty8).

I'm trying to switch users instead of just logging of because I have set up my virtual machine to be selected from gdm on user select. (but that hardly has anything to do with the current problem

My hardware:
Asus N53SV
intel i7 2.4ghz
graph card: Nvidia GEforce GT 540m cuda 2GB
ram:16GB

Software:
Ubuntu 12.04 (dualboot with windows, but that matter not)
Gnome 3

mmm dont see what else could be helpful to share here, if you need more info plz let me know

Problem synthesis: my X server's virtual terminals are showing up black screens except for tty7, in which the graphic interface works fine.

Try to install latest driver from AMD/nvidia site. Only trouble is after Kernel update, you have to re-install it. Another option is to use kmode-nvidia driver, I am using it on Sony vaio with CentOS.

:S if I install the latest nvidia drivers would bumblebee still work?

also :S things have gotten more complicated, gnome is freezing every once in a while and it allways freezes when trying to load a VM (vmware) sometimes it unfreezes after a little while, but sometimes it doesnt :S
Looking around on forums I saw that Ubuntu 12.04 64bit version is having some troubles with gnome-shell 3, so I'm going to try to uninstall gnome (the "right" way), but I dont think that will fix the x sessions problem
