Then you have enabled CD/DVD/Blu-ray burner and there is no medium in it.
Just disable it by using yast2.

I fixed the CD error message as you mentioned but get this:

I went ahead with the upgrade today as the system allwed me to upade but have run into problems post update. First thing that I noticed is that I can't start X:

then I tought maybe the system did not update all the packages so I ran "zypper dup" again and it said I had more packages to upate so I thougt Ok , will do that adn hopefully it will fix my issues. Once I started the update the errors started popping up and now it looks like I have run out of partition space :-(.

I have no idea how to go about this. Is there a way to revert all the udates so that I can go back to a 42.2 sytem or a way to fix my issues and have the system finally updated to a working condition?
