Once more it's a beautifully placed sudo wall.

If you never watched this movie, I strongly suggest you to see it. Especially for the speech in the final part. As well as I suggest you to see other movies by Charles Chaplin. They are all full of such a simple thing we are losing now. A thing that can be a way to new, better life on Earth.

Troubleshoot DHCP

Posted 04-22-2010 at 01:35 PM by Mr. ameya sathe (Tantra Yantra Swatantrya)

Although your DHCP Server has been configured to assign a new IP address to a network machine;your DHCP client will retain its old IP address.
In such a case; clean out the Leases file on the DHCP Server and the DHCP Client side.

On Server side;
Code:
echo "" > /var/lib/dhcpd-*/dhcpd.leases
On Client side;
Code:
echo "" > /var/lib/dhclient/dhcp.eth0.leases
