Sunflower or Sunflower-fm is a filemanager which I just recently submitted a video on. I was contacted by one of the developers. Who let me know that many improvements had come along since then. So, here is a fresh screencast of the latest offering of Sunflower-fm, version 0.1a-40.

Installing VMware Player on Slackware based Linux.

Posted 03-09-2012 at 02:45 AM by stretchedthin

Seems there are a couple tricks to installing VMware on a Slackware based system. The question was raised on the forum by a member who was stuck and it needed an answer. So I downloaded from "https://www.vmware.com/tryvmware/", ran into a wierd problem with the installer just aborting and not giving much in the way of clues, as to why. Some google-fu saved the day and this is how it is done.

Uploaded a video to youtube with all the details.

Well, nobody said Linux is boring - well, I did'nt anyway.

This one's for all those Archers out there. So, here's a new install, and you want to update the system before proceeding. Good practice, so you enter

Quote:
pacman -Syu
in the console (at first, that's all there is), pacman gets a once-over, so you re-issue the upgrade command...and get (after downloading and all)...
Quote:
not enough disk space
...already???????
