Hero Honda Splendor fork oil change

Posted 02-11-2012 at 01:36 AM by catkin

The easiest way to do this job is to remove the drain plugs but the part that they screw into within the slider may turn. If that happens a special tool is required to hold it. The procedure described here avoids that danger; it does not need any special tools.

Note on terms: the fork tube (a.k.a. stanchion) is attached to the yokes (a.k.a. triple tree) which pivot in the frame while the slider (a.k.a tube) holds the wheel. The least ambiguous terms, "stanchion" and "slider",...

I searched for a portion of this text using Startpage and found just one result, in a post to the kde-commits list, pertaining...

Posted 02-09-2012 at 04:54 PM by sag47
Updated 02-09-2012 at 04:58 PM by sag47

Recently a post was made requesting a solution to detecting sound in a studio to see if it is populated with lots of noise (lots of noise=people/bands playing) this way the person monitoring it wouldn't have to go through the trouble of hulking all their stuff to the studio.

I posted an interesting solution so I'm sharing it here and a little more on this blog. See post #9 of this thread.
