This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

First time I installed Opensuse Edulife, my computer froze. So, I guess, my computer can not be installed Opensuse Edulife now. May be, because my graphic card, or other hardware. New system: Linux 22.214.171.124 x86_64 [amd64], nvidia-drivers 260.19.36, libx264 0.0.20110223(portage), mplayer...

The first one seems to appeared in 4.6.1 or 2, it was an issue with logging you out anyway once you pressed "Exit", even if you click "Cancel" later on.
The second one was not in xfce itself but in Thunar file manager, when copying address from bar, it copies as file:/// URL + newline, which gave me...
