How to report intel graphics related bugs (independent if they relate to kernel, mesa or whatever):

Howto find the offending change in the kernel:

  1. Freeze/Crash when using some software that uses certain graphics hardware stuff.
    Getting the following error message:
    Failed to open BO for returned DRI2 buffer (1600x900, dri2 back buffer,

Intel DP67BG motherboard issues - pt 1

This motherboard comes with a wireless dongle for connection to an internal USB header, cable included. It also comes with enough SATA cables for army (at least in the retail package). The metal backplate that goes around the external connectors is very fat a springy, and I had to pre-mash it in order to mount the motherboard in my tower. The wireless dongle stays inside the case, and must be mounted on a plastic surface so the signal can get out. Unfortunately, my tower has only metal panels for...

The Story...

In the last few days, I choose to upgrade my Asus EEEPC 900 to EEEBUNTU NBR 3.0 (based on Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop Jaunty).

After the installation, it was unbelievable how it worked badly...

The mouse pointer was tilting (as the mouse ball was unclean since 1990... Amiga like style!)...

Anyway all the system was very very very SLOOOOWWWWWWwwwww.

Oh My God!!!!!

Well, the solution was behind the corner......
