Just horsing around with OpenSuSE. I have a fairly fresh install, with a few rpm repos a list I found on opensuse.org. (basicly the same list posted here). Many of the 'packman' repos barf- mostly the mirrors die. due to timeout problems or what not.
It's opensuse version 10.

I can't find a few pieces of software as a rpm that I realy like: Urquan Masters, Dosbox, and Acidrip.
I have dvdrip and have used it before.
And it seems to work here-It'd just be nice to at least have the option to use something that doesn't average 9 hours or so on my oldy but goody.

The other question I have are their better repos around for YaST than some of the ones from the 'extra' repos? (by that I meen with a more comprehensive set of software.)

I think the apt4rpm repositories are a little more advanced than the standard YaST ones, but more tricky to use. Have a look here: http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/
