general questions

1. In Red Hat Linux 6.2, how do you customize the screensaver from the Control Center?

2. What is a wall command and what can it do from the terminal window?
If you use a wall command from the terminal window, what happens if you are connected to a network?

3. What does "toc:" do in the command box?

It does what "man wall" says it does.

It sends a message to all users logged into the
machine wall is issued on.

If you are connected the same thing happens:
all users logged into this machine will see a message.

Not quite sure what exactly you mean?
I would assume that it stands for
"table of contents" .. I haven't come across
it as a command so far... what exactly is a
command box?

Cheers,
Tink

P.S.: Here's some advice that pretty much every new
user on LQ is pointed to at some stage :)
