slow refresh

Hi all
I have a problem , my suse is working all fine ,but i have a refresh problem.
let me explain the problem:

1.In console when i run a program like 'mc' it takes about 10 seconds for each refresh (line by line character by character)

2.in konqueror no icon views (list-view,tree-view,...) takes about 2 second to refresh i can see the refresh row by row

3.also in amaroK i have this problem with playlist !

4. i have this problem with all list-views !!!

cpu: amd 1600xp
ram: 256+512
hdd: 80 ata

What kind of video card do you have? Maybe this is a drivers problem?

nvidia gfore 2 mx 400, 2-3 month ago i installed the xgl on my computer but because of some problems with kde (i usually use it) i disabled it,
i can play divx movie with less than 5% of cpu load,and all other parts are working fine, so probably i don't have driver problem.
