Samba slow refresh problems

Hello all,
Anybody has experience with slow refresh when you manipulate file via samba? When i used Windows to create new folder or delete file, i had to hit refresh myself to see the changed. Thank you for your advance.

Regards,
Nopphorn

im assuming you mean in a file browser.

1. Make sure FAM is started. I believe that is the service that monitors file changes
2. Might try mounting using CIFS instead of SMBFS. Seems to work better.
