no gui on solaris 10


i tried to get the solaris 10 installed .
it ws successful but in the end i ws only able to work on the command prompt .. there was no gui
the xservere failed to start..
that goes well in all the linux distro i hav tried yet ..my pc is
ibm 2.93 ghz 256 RAM,intel 915 board with 900 GMA
monitor is E74 6332
and this ws the problem with all the other pcs on which i tried to install it ..
can yu plz hlp me
i m crazy bout usin solaris but that hinders me

Run kdmconfig, select Xsun server, configure it, it should then run properly.
Think about investing in RAM too, as 256 MB is low.
