how can use Solaris GUI login......
i setup solaris on SUN v240 from network, when setup complete login is command line,how can i use GUI login every setup.thanks

The GUI login window should have been displayed by default.
"/usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e" will enable GUI auto-start after next reboot.

why£¿ i try "/usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e" command, not succeed yet. i screen show :

The X-server can not be started on display :0....

If the X server fails to start, have a look at its error log file, possibly /var/dt/Xerrors .
Read your graphic card documentation for help too.

I've no MSN address and don't plan to have one ever.
If this is a brand new box, why not calling Sun or your dealer service support ?
I suppose you must have some kind of service agreement, aren't you ?

Are you faint when you hear of my result? i look Xerrors £¬find prompt failed on /dev/mouse, and setup mouse then restart ./dtlogin . it's ok.
