Trying to install Slackware 14.2 on /dev/sdc

I've got 3 drives on this custom built desktop.

When it's time for me to do the partitioning the partition manager takes me to /dev/sda1.

I want to install Slackware to /dev/sdc.

How do I get the partition mgr to show me /dev/sdc so I can install Slackware?

try "cfdisk /dev/sdc" to set up linux partions on /dev/sdc. When you then run Slackware's "setup" from the boot DVD, you wil be given the option to select the install partition.

What partitioning software? Most require you to specify the device in the command that you want to view/adjust.

EDIT: Actually, doing a quick check shows that fdisk, gdisk, sfdisk, sgdisk, and cgdisk all require you to pass the device name. cfdisk seems to be the only one that assumes it's /dev/sda if nothing is passed.
