Installing RIP LinuX on a USB drive - device name /dev/sdc becomes /dev/sda
Hello,
I've installed a persistent copy of RIP Linux on a USB drive using the mkextlin.sh script. It seems to have worked fine, except the device name changes. I'm running F7, which names all hard drives as /dev/sd* - however, when RIP Linux boots, the internal hard drives are named /dev/hd*. As a result, the USB drive, which was /dev/sdc in F7 is named /dev/sda when RIP Linux boots...so it can't find the partition to boot from.
Does anybody know what configuration I'd need to change in order to get the RIP Linux install to look for the correct device name (i.e., /dev/sda)?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
