Maybe it would be useful to add haveged to Slackware? I know anyone could just install it from SBo, but apparently it could be useful for some people during install when setting up LVM on LUKS for example. See these alpine install directions that incorporate haveged.
I'm using it, but I'm not entirely happy.
From the observed behaviour, it looks there might be some bugs (e.g. related to disabling TPM).
But I would have to take a look at the source code to see what the deal is there.
Hi , this is only a sugestion , cause in extra recordmydesktop are unmantained and not too versatile , i think better is switch to "ssr"
simple screen recorder , are more flexible , works with pulse , can record audio from browser etc , options to choose format video/audio.
when i say works with pulse, i refer , can choose "device" from pulse options in ssr gui ... can record internal audio + microphone at same time etc.
I vouch for this, ssr is fantastic and i don't think i've had any issues with it since finding it at slackbuilds, whilst recordmydesktop seems to have alot of quirks with sound since the addition of pulseaudio, along with the framerate of recorded videos tending to have unpredictable spikes/lags.
