Well, I guess no more goofing off and procrastinating. I should get my SBo stuff ready.

Yeah, the tree is done and what you see up right now with the exception of the ChangeLog and some documentation is exactly what will be released as Slackware 15.0. I meant to have it public today but it got late and the folks on the other side of the Atlantic needed sleep. Since I can, I'm going to keep testing ISOs here to make sure everything's correct. It'll all go live tomorrow - see you then. :-)

Woo Hoo !

To prepare for the switch from current to 15.0 and to save Internet Bandwidth, I've run on my local repo:
Code:
cd /dld/15.0 && rsync -avH slackware-current-64/ slackware-15-64 && slackware-current-32/ slackware-15-32
Your repo will be different

It's been almost 6 years folks are waiting for that moment, I'm pretty sure you're not gonna save anything related to the bandwidth

Of course it a hint. Love these cryptic notes in the change log. Part of what makes Slackware so enjoyable to use.

Massive news! I am so pleased for you and for everyone here, congratulations.

I'll be out tonight so probably won't be around when the button is pressed but I shall raise a beer to you, Patrick [and another for the community].

Winter has come [in a good way].

Congratulations, Mr. Volkerding! Thank you very much for all the hard work. The Slackware community salutes our BDFL.
