A Slackware Foundation can still keep Slackware free as long as it is set up in the right way, you only need to look at RMS and the Free Software Foundation.
A Slackware foundation could also be a way to provide support for hardware, web hosting, servers, network upgrades and more in addition to money donations. This might also be a way for other companies to give their support without making Slackware dependent on this.
Just sent Pat another (small) donation
I know Pat is just being thorough about setting up a better continuing contribution setup.
But, until that's in place, I intend to give a little on the 1st of each month ...
If you feel that way, feel free to join me on each "Fool's Day" (I've always thought there were more Fools than April could handle on its own).
If you don't like Pat's paypal link in my signature you can always mail a check to Pat.

Just wanted to say thanks, my grumpy check did clear the banks, 28 days after I sent it. Works fine.
Now I am always thinking Hair Augmentation Technology every day I go outside, thanks you slackers. Plus, I finally commented the kernels in slackpkg -current as AlienBob suggested after I griped in the updates-for-current thread. Of course! Why didn't I think of that? I was just going with what comes out of the box, and not thinking. Thanks for the reminder.

Now I am always worried about my brain evaporating, thanks to Kingbeowulf.
Edit: After backing up and reading previous comments I too would like to express that I like the simple, clean, 'KISS' look of the current Slackware site. I think its unfussy, straightforward aesthetic mirrors all the things I love about Slackware the OS.

So with the store out of the question (although it's still linked to the website after all this), where do I get a new slackware 'S' coffee mug? I have to confess the alternate logo at CafePress is not my favorite... Any thoughts? I'm drinking coffee from a generic office mug, which is pathetic.
