Off the apex of my cranium, I'd say that is good news!

Given my nick, it will be very ugly when I finally go bald unless I wear a hat.

Alright, I know I stated I wasn't looking for any Hair Augmentation Technology - but if there is a Slackware Beanie in the mix, I would be interested.

That would be great. In the cold months I wear a beanie cap all winter long. BUT, I am still too young to be using it due to hair loss. I just like to wear hats!

At my advanced age I need as much to help me prevent burn so 'Hair Augmentation Technology' would be great. I would proudly wear a Slackware H.A.T. while golfing and I am am sure there would be curious queries.

Have fun & enjoy your 'H.A.T.'

Good news. It seems Liberapay has sorted out their problems with payment processors. They now work with Stripe and soon they will be integrating PayPal:

Any chance to cooperate through Amazon??

Patrick.

I had the honor to have some emails with you when I was trying to install slackware in 1996 and you were very kind helping me to keep trying... I do not forget it.. I am in Colombia and Panama... Is there any chance to help (donation/something you need) you through amazon? or something you need to support slackware?

Please let me know.

You are not alone!.

Francisco.

Hello there from Argentina

Patrick

I'm also grateful for your work on Slackware and feel part of this family as well, I've been there since Slackware 8, I've learned so many of the core of *nix thanks to this distro. Thank you personally.
I will donate as soon as I'm able to via paypal, just knew about this today and always wanted to contribute back so no better time than now.

A grateful hug!
Javier

EDIT: donated via paypal.

I second or third the motion for more Slackware hats, perhaps of different styles: baseball, beanie, fisherman, sun hat etc... a bowler or fedora would be quite a good conversation starter. Actually a Slackware fedora would be hilarious.

ArchLinux uses click&pledge for donations which might be a useful way to do it:

On PayPal...

Some dislike its services for a number of reasons.

So here's a different suggestion.

@Patrick
Why not set up bank account specifically for donations.
Every bank account has a unique IBAN number as well as Swift number.

This way anyone with a banking account can send you the donation without using PayPal or other services.

Might be something for consideration at least :-)
Good point!
Could also rename that direct banking account as 'Patrick Volkerding's Softlanding Linux System' (or 'PV-SLS'), lawyers permitting
